MEMA Announces Management Changes

The Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Assn. (MEMA), recently announced several job responsibility changes within its management team.
They include:
* Wendy Earp, formerly director of finance and administration, has been promoted to vice president of finance and human resources. Earp is responsible for the financial management of MEMA and its three market segment associations: The Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Assn. (AASA), the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Assn. (HDMA) and the Original Equipment Suppliers Assn. (OESA). She also will direct budgeting and finance functions for the automotive-related trade associations administered by Management Services Group (MSG), MEMA’s association management group. Earp’s duties include human resources administration for the association’s nearly 100 employees.
* Brent Hazelett, formerly executive director of MEMA’s Management Services Group (MSG) and the Filter Manufacturers Council, has been promoted to vice president of operations. In addition to continuing to oversee MEMA’s managed councils and associations, Hazelett will manage the operations of MEMA, which include facilities, real estate, print services and other among other things.
Earp and Hazelett continue to report to McKenna, who also announced two new job responsibilities in the association’s Washington, D.C, office:
* Brian Duggan, formerly director of international programs, has been named the new director of trade and commercial policy. Duggan will represent MEMA on international trade policy, intellectual property and other matters. He will represent members before Congress and federal and state agencies and will be responsible for interaction with appropriate MEMA committees and councils.
* Ann McCulloch has been promoted to director of external affairs. She will manage all constituent based advocacy efforts including grassroots coordination, MEMA’s annual legislative summit, legislative fly-in programs, political contributions and legislative and regulatory coalition participation. McCulloch will supervise and manage all messages from Washington to membership including weekly newsletters, regulatory bulletins and political calls to action.
Duggan and McCulloch report to Ann Wilson, MEMA’s vice president of government affairs.
