McLeod Software of Birmingham, Ala. has its own document design software as a standard function of its LoadMaster Version 7 product.
Based on high performance J2EE technologies, LoadMaster provides a document designer function that is fully integrated to the trucking software system, allowing users to create and customize any company document, in-house.
Using Standard Query Language statements, the document designer extracts the data from LoadMaster’s tables. The data is pulled into the Graphical User Interface of the designer where it can be displayed in the format desired -- as text or graphics.
In addition to creating unique documents, LoadMaster currently provides 50 pre-defined document templates, which include operational reports, cost analysis reports, invoices, check formats, tax forms, labels and bills of lading. Because of the sophisticated software integration, each document uses carrier specific data to populate the user-defined fields.
The analysis reports provided by the document designer offer a strategic advantage to a trucking company’s ability to access and interpret information. A trucking company administrator can easily obtain reports by company, customer or load and have that information illustrated graphically for quick interpretation. Example reports include revenue versus cost breakdown, profit versus loss by tractor, customer financial report and payee analysis report.
McLeod's LoadMaster software is a completely integrated transportation management software system that can be customized and interfaced with most popular mobile communication, mileage and fuel systems.
