McLeod Software's User Conference in Nashville next month will kick of with a panel featuring the Chairmen of the Board of three major North American truck transportation associations.
Moderated by McLeod President and CEO Tom McLeod, the panel features:
* Ray Haight, Executive Director of MacKinnon Transport Inc. (Guelph, Ontario) and 2008-2009 Chairman of the Board for the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA)
* Doug Clark, President & CEO of Greatwide Freight Brokerage (formerly Cargo-Master) of Dallas, Texas, and 2007-2008 Chairman of the Board of the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA)
* Ron D. Tartt, CTP, General Manager, Private Fleet - Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC, (Nashville, Tenn.) and 2007-2008 Chairman of the Board for the National Private Truck Council (NPTC).
The annual event has outgrown the facilities the company has been using in its headquarters city of Birmingham, Ala., so this year for the first time McLeod is holding the conference in Nashville, Tenn. The conference will take place in the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center Sept. 14-17.
In addition to new software demonstrations and free training on McLeod's LoadMaster and PowerBroker software, the McLeod event is also a management conference and technology trade show. For instance, this year's conference will provide more than seven sessions that will focus on or discuss fuel and and how to improve mileage.
The deadline to register for the conference is August 15. Click here for more information.
