Idaho-based May Trucking Company plans to install IDSC's Netwise decision support software.
Developed by Integrated Decision Support Corporation of Richardson, Texas, Netwise is a strategic pricing and profitability tool. Specific functions include yield management, shipper bid response, "what-if" analysis, and optimization of the freight mix.
"I like Netwise because it allows us to carefully examine the profitability of our network," said May President David Daniels. "We also expect Netwise to allow us to be more productive by utilizing the bid response functionality."
May Trucking Company operates a fleet of more than 600 tractors, transporting dry and refrigerated products throughout the United States.
Integrated's full line of software addresses the entire range of decision-making issues for full truckload carriers from strategic and tactical to operational.
