Maxon Lift Corp. has formed a strategic partnership with Purkeys Fleet Electric to provide liftgates and the electrical system to keep the liftgate running and on the road.
This partnership will aid in resolving issues with liftgates and total battery charging capacity.
Battery charging issues have escalated due to new idling laws that put additional constraints on recharging times for batteries. In addition, more and more attachments and tools on trucks and trailers are in need of electric power.
Arkansas-based Purkeys Fleet Electric has been serving heavy-duty fleets' electrical needs for over 20 years. Owner Bruce Purkey has over 32 years of combined experience. He is known as TMC's "Doctor Electricity" and a Silver Spark Plug recipient. With the help of his team, he has conducted electrical training for both large and small fleets and has developed testing tools, procedures and products to make working on electrical systems an easier and more exact science for fleets, tractors and trailers.
