Iowa 80 Truckstop in Walcott, Iowa, announced that Marty Stuart and the Fabulous Superlatives will be performing at the 32nd Annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree on July 14.


Stuart is a country music singer, known for both his traditional style, and eclectic merging of rockabilly, honky tonk, and traditional country music. Last month, Stuart won his fifth Grammy award with "Best Country Instrumental" for "Hummingbyrd," his tribute to guitarist Clarence White, from his new traditional country album "Ghost Train (The Studio B Sessions.)"

In addition to the concert, this year's event will feature over 200 events and exhibits including a Super Truck Beauty Contest, Antique Truck Display, Trucker Olympics and a fireworks display. Admission and parking are free and shuttles will be provided from the parking area to the event grounds.

The first Walcott Truckers Jamboree in 1979 attracted only a few hundred drivers, but attendance has since grown to 30,000. The 32nd Annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree will be held July 14-15, 2011 at Iowa 80 Truckstop, I-80 Exit 284, Walcott, Iowa.
