Wisconsin-based Martin Trucking Company, a family-owned business established in 1932, has signed a contract with Integrated Decision Support Corporation of Richardson, Texas for Expert Fuel.
Expert Fuel minimizes fuel costs by providing an optimal fuel plan at the time of dispatch. Expert Fuel will route the driver using your company's preferred route then optimize the fuel purchase locations and quantities, all within seconds. Then the route and fuel solution is sent to the driver over your mobile communications system using your own defined macros. Other functions that this product offers are detailed route and fuel purchase instructions, optimization options, evaluation of out-of route purchases and the ability to have multiple fuel networks with different discount structures.
This program was fully integrated within Martin Trucking Company's AS400 computer and Qualcomm satellite systems to provide real time fuel optimization solutions.
Martin Trucking Company operates a fleet of 125 company owned units and contracts with 20 owner-operators, primarily moving refrigerated food products throughout the country using 125 refrigerated trailers specifically designed for the movement of ice cream.
