Maddock's TruckMate Software to Interface with Qualcomm's OmniTRACS
Maddocks Systems Inc., of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, will offer an interface to integrate its TruckMate for Windows software with Qualcomm’s OmniTRACS mobile communications system

TruckMate for Windows manages both LTL and truckload operations. OmniTRACS, which provides near-universal satellite coverage, dominates the truckload market for mobile communications.
The Maddocks news release continues a string of recent TruckMate announcements that include similar interfaces with OmniTRACS competitors HighwayMaster from @Track Communications and Mobile WorkStation From Terion. Earlier this year Maddocks released a version of TruckMate for the venerable IBM AS/400 systems, popular among commercial carriers. Maddocks has also promised an ASP (Application Service Provider) version of TruckMate for later this year.
"Working with Qualcomm's OmniTRACS system, we will be able to offer an industry-leading mobile communications solution across our client base, no matter the fleet size or transportation company," said Robert Maddocks, president and CEO, Maddocks Systems.
