Canadian trucking software provider Maddocks Systems reports it is experiencing its fourth consecutive year of expansion,
with more than 30 transportation companies choosing TruckMate for Windows during the first half of 2002.
These new TruckMate clients represent more than 2,800 power units specializing in everything from traditional truckload to intermodal and bulk liquid hauling.
“The willingness of many trucking companies to invest in new technology can be considered an indicator of the positive growth we are seeing throughout the transportation industry;” said Bob Maddocks, president and CEO.
“There is no doubt the trucking industry has changed dramatically over the last 10 years;” explains Maddocks. “Transportation companies have become more diversified, offering shippers any combination of truckload, LTL, logistics, and intermodal services. Carriers are now demanding a software solution with the flexibility to adjust to these changes.”
