Mack Adds Memphis Parts Distribution Center
Mack Trucks Inc. has opened a new parts distribution center in Memphis, Tenn. The new facility joins Mack’s existing centers in Reno, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Baltimore and Toronto

Mack Trucks Inc. has opened a new parts distribution center in Memphis, Tenn. The new facility joins Mack’s existing centers in Reno, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Baltimore and Toronto.
Approximately $550,000 was invested in the Memphis facility, which has a total of 99,800 square feet and is expected to fill more than 250,000 orders for Mack parts annually.
“Having access to this large, fully stocked, strategically located PDC allows dealers in the Memphis area to utilize ground overnight shipments instead of air freight, which is significant both in terms of cost effectiveness and in ensuring that they have the right parts for their customers at the right time,” said Rikard Jonsson, senior vice president Parts Sales & Marketing.
The Mack Memphis center also gives dealers throughout North America the ability to do late-night ordering, Jonsson added.
