Logistics.com, the web-based logistics and software company based in Burlington, Mass, has launched the OptiYield Network Dashboard, an easy-to-use, web-enabled interface to its OptiYield service,
a set of web-based management and analysis tools for transportation providers.
Combined with OptiYield Profit Analyzer, Network Dashboard gives companies instant profitability and forecasting information.
Many trucking companies make decisions on whether or not to accept freight with little insight into the current state of their network. With ever-increasing bidding activity, orders coming in via phone, fax, e-mail and Internet marketplaces, such decisions must be made quickly, often within minutes. OptiYield Network Dashboard remedies this problem by giving decision-makers the information they need to maximize network profitability.
Three Logistics.com clients -- Averitt Express, Challenger MotorFreight and Sitton Motor Lines -- are already successfully using the enhanced OptiYield Profit Analyzer with Network Dashboard.
"The application gives our entire company instant visibility into our most profitable customers, regions, lanes and loads," said Monte Manus, vice president of Averitt Express's Truckload Division.
