The Lightstone Group has developed a routing and scheduling software program which helps businesses maximize the time- and cost-efficiency of resources such as drivers and vehicles.
Lightstone’s Resources In Motion Management System (RIMMS) allows users to custom design route delivery schedules and assign tasks to resources. The RIMMS system, which updates in real-time, lets fleets customize business programs with industry-specific terminology, preferred geographical assignments and specific vehicle characteristics.
In addition, RIMMS users can simultaneously view a variety of logistical data, such as spacial representations of geo-coded regions, route schedules, driver availability and addresses all on one screen. Software can generate reports ranging from directions for each delivery to spreadsheets of costs analysis of route schedules.
