Web-based leasing services marketplace LeaseTrading Inc., Norwalk, Conn., has joined The Dock as a Preferred Member.
The Dock is an online exchange offering industrial equipment from 20 industries and value-added services in an open marketplace. Buyers, sellers and service providers purchase and list assets and services under their own names in a marketplace that mirrors real world practices.
LeaseTrading operates an online marketplace for transferring equipment and vehicle leases from a current lessee to a new lessee. The LeaseTrading marketplace enables direct communication between all participants in the lease transfer process, including current lessees, prospective lessees, leasing companies, credit institutions and logistics providers.
The Dock's broad range of more than 4,000 service providers includes appraisers, auctioneers, new and used equipment dealers, riggers, transportation, insurance, real estate, scrap and salvage, warehousing, transportation, lenders, engineering and asset management. Industrial equipment listed on The Dock ranges from machine tools, chemical processing, food and beverage and pharmaceutical to textile, woodworking, mining, power and more.
The Dock's Preferred Members include Lehman Brothers, Coast Business Credit, Certified Support Services, Aaron Equipment, Federal Equipment, DoveBid, Ralston Purina, Trailer Transit, Machinery & Equipment, Daewoo Heavy Industries America, Brandenburg Industrial Service, Louisiana Equipment and Prestige Equipment.
