Layover.com has acquired the trucker social networking website MyTruckingSpace.com and will merge it with social networking site MyLayover.com to expand each site's network of trucker-specific tools and create one ocial networking experience for the trucking professional.
The newly merged website, to be called MyTruckingSpace.com, brings the power of the latest internet-based social networking tools to bear and puts them at the fingertips of the driver. The combined features of each site will provide a trucking-specific destination for truck drivers nationwide to connect with each other, their families, and their communities.
Existing and new users can now take advantage of creating their own blog, uploading their pictures from the road, as well as uploading and posting their own videos. With both sites combined, truck drivers can continue to build an online community with more features and can now have quick and easy access to Layover.com's job searching, CDL test practice, and in-depth articles and columns by trucking professionals.
"Members can upload photos, videos, and music and create their own photo galleries of their road trips, their families, or just about anything they wish," states Wolfgang Lessing, founder of MyTruckingSpace.com. "MyTruckingSpace.com has a library of current music and music videos and also allows members to create their own websites and fill them with features from the site. Users on MyTruckingSpace can now add Layover's superior job searching and professional content to their own web space or blog and have easier access to all that Layover.com offers."
MyTruckingSpace.com and MyLayover.com expect to be fully integrated and all features available to users within the next 60 days.
