Knight Transportation Inc. has announced the official opening of its 31st service center. This new service center is located in Boise, Idaho, and will provide dry van transportation services.
The Boise center represents the 24th service center providing dry van services in the carrier’s growing nationwide network. In addition to the 24 dry van service centers, the network includes three Knight Refrigerated and four Knight Brokerage service centers. Chairman and CEO Kevin Knight said, "The new Boise center represents the seventh service center initiated in 2006. We are pleased with the growth and market development the recent seven centers have contributed to our company. As our dry van, temperature controlled, and brokerage service footprint expands, our relationship with our customers strengthens, our ability to provide local service is enhanced, quality driving jobs are created, and opportunity is generated for our developing leaders. With our expansion into each additional market, we further strengthen and build our brand as the premier national carrier, providing local service to the markets we serve."
