FleetPride Inc. announced that Kevin A. Peters has been appointed CEO of FleetPride, effective Jan. 14. Peters succeeds Woody McGee, who will remain on the board of directors.
Peters comes to FleetPride after five years at Office Depot, most recently as president, North America.
Peters has been at Office Depot since 2007 where he built its multi-channel business with P&L responsibility for retail stores, contract sales, direct mail and e-commerce in a highly competitive category. While there he also improved the global supply chain and IT functions.
From 2002 to 2007, Peters was the senior vice president, Merchandising and Supply Chain at W.W. Grainger Inc. He was responsible for the overall strategic direction and management of the company's product line, purchasing and global supply chain operations.
Prior to W.W. Grainger, he was at The Home Depot for 11 years, where he served as vice president and general manager, Home Depot Commercial Direct, the wholesale division for Home Depot Canada.
