Kenworth has enhanced its web site at www.kenworth.com with, among other things, a "virtual showroom."

The first selection under the "product" menu on Kenworth’s home page, virtual showroom requires a web browser plug-in from MGI Software. You’ll find a link to the download site on Kenworth’s virtual showroom page.
Using the plug-in, you can select the Kenworth model you want view. It appears in a new window with a selection of tools that allow you to rotate the truck so you can see it from most angles. You can also zoom in and view details.
Besides the truck viewing enhancement, Kenworth’s upgraded site features products, dealers, parts and service, driver's lounge, news and events and merchandise.
The product section offers information by market segment, including for hire, medium duty, owner operator, leasing, private fleet, and vocational.
The dealer section has a Kenworth dealer locator with dealer address and phone number. You’ll also find a truck locator to search for new and used trucks available both at individual dealerships and within the Kenworth dealer network.
The parts and service section provides detailed information on various Kenworth programs as well as a Service Unit Locator covering cabs, hoods and sleeper unit inventory available within the Kenworth dealer network. A SmartSearch cross-reference application contains more than 1.3 million part numbers.
In the driver's lounge, drivers can check the latest weather from The Weather Channel and map their route with Mapquest.
In the merchandise section you can order Kenworth caps, jackets, shirts, gifts and accessories.
Other sections feature the latest Kenworth press releases, feature stories and a detailed history of Kenworth Truck Co. since its inception in 1923.
