Kenworth Truck Company will kick off its Kenworth T700 and Paccar MX Engine Canadian Road Tour in September, heading to 13 Kenworth dealerships throughout Canada.

The tour will feature the new aerodynamic Kenworth T700 model equipped with a 75-inch Aerodyne sleeper and new 2010 Paccar MX engine. The tour trailer will showcase information on the two new products in addition to the new Kenworth NavPlus (a navigation plus infotainment system), AG130 front air suspension, and other Kenworth products. The Eaton UltraShift automated transmission will also be showcased.

"The Paccar MX engine with its superior power-to-weight performance teamed with the aerodynamic, wide-cab Kenworth T700 provides fleets and truck operators with low-cost operation, outstanding performance, and superior driver comfort and driveability," said Gary Moore, Kenworth assistant general manager for marketing and sales.

The Paccar MX engine has accumulated more than 50 million test miles in rigorous and severe conditions in North America. It is available with a horsepower range of 380 to 485 and torque output up to 1,750 pounds-feet.
