Kenworth Sales Company has opened a new parts and service location in Salina, Utah.

A member of the Kenworth dealer network of more than 300 locations in the U.S. and Canada, the new parts and service facility is on a one and a half acre lot located at the intersection of State Routes 50 and 85. The dealership features a nearly 5,200 square-foot service department with four service bays, and a large parts warehouse to serve customers in the agricultural, food processing and coal mining industries. The shop has Paccar MX engine and Cummins certified technicians on staff.

"Our new parts and service location provides truck operators a much needed option to get the parts and service they need in this area of Utah," said Kyle Treadway, president of Kenworth Sales Company, which operates 19 dealerships in Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. "Our new location is the only truck OEM dealer facility in Salina with the nearest full-service location more than an hour's drive away."

In addition to serving local companies, the new Salina location supports long-haul operators traveling Interstate 70.

Kenworth Sales Company-Salina is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, although after-hours parts and service is available by appointment.
