Kenworth of Indianapolis was named Kenworth's Medium Duty Dealer of the Year, in part because of its success in the expedited trucking market.
The award recognizes the top-performing Kenworth dealership that has excelled well beyond industry expectations in many areas, including customer service and sales. The annual award is based on Kenworth's extensive Dealer Excellence Standards.
"Our staff, led by Jeff Jones, has done a great job of providing our customers with the medium-duty product and support solutions they seek," said Jim Roemer, vice president of Kenworth of Indianapolis, who accepted the award along with fellow company vice president John Nichols. "We've been especially successful with the fast-moving expedited freight companies. We believe that the T300 is the best product in the industry, and our organization is making every effort to press on with the T300 in other areas."
According to Ed Caudill, Kenworth general manager, Kenworth of Indianapolis pioneered Kenworth's entry into the expediter market. The dealership also serves customers in numerous other medium duty segments, including refuse, dump truck, fire truck, and moving industry."
