The Kenworth T370 Hybrid Utility
. The trade show, which runs October 6-8 at the Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center in Louisville, focuses on the electric, general construction, public works and landscaping segments.
The Kenworth T370 hybrid, equipped with a Terex utility body, will be available for test drives as part of the ICUEE Ride and Drive and Equipment Demo. Kenworth will also display a T370 with Altec utility body, and Kenworth T270 truck with Summit service body.
The new Kenworth T470 model with a Braden winch will be on public display for the first time. The Kenworth T470, which recently went into production, is for snowplow, dump, mixer, winch, refuse, and other heavy front-axle vocational and municipal applications. The new model's 9-liter Cummins ISL engine allows for 345 horsepower and 1,150 pounds-feet of torque. It can be ordered with a range of manual and automatic transmissions and includes 12,000- to 22,000 pound-rated front axles, 21,000- to 26,000 pound-rated single rear axles and 40,000- to 46,000-pound-rated tandem rear axles.
