Kenworth has named Central Illinois Trucks in Normal, Ill., as its 2009 Kenworth Medium Duty Dealer of the Year for the U.S. and Canada

Central Illinois Trucks executives receive their award at the Kenworth Dealer Meeting in Seattle.
The announcement was made at the Kenworth Dealer Meeting held recently in Seattle.
"We have made significant investments in personnel, parts and service to support medium-duty customers," said Erick Miner, president of Central Illinois Trucks, which operates dealerships in Bensenville, Champaign, Joliet, Morton, Normal, Peru, and Springfield.
Central Illinois Trucks was chosen as Kenworth Medium Dealer of the Year from among six other Kenworth dealer finalists. Other medium-duty dealers that were recognized include Kenworth Toronto, NorCal Kenworth, MHC Kenworth (Colorado), MHC Kenworth (Georgia), Pape Kenworth of Central California, and Wallwork Kenworth.
"Central Illinois Trucks aggressively pursues the medium-duty business and does an excellent job of selling to the construction, fire truck, petroleum hauler, refuse, snowplow and wrecker markets," said Bill Kozek, Kenworth general manager and Paccar vice president.
