Kenan Advantage Joins ATA’s Highway Watch
The American Trucking Assns. announced Tuesday that Kenan Advantage Group Inc., an Ohio-based fuels delivery carrier, will become the latest national motor carrier to participate corporate-wide in the ATA’ Highway Watch program

Highway Watch is a national safety and security program that uses America’s transportation workers to help prevent terrorists from using large vehicles or hazardous cargoes as weapons and to protect America’s critical highway transportation infrastructure.
The program is administered by ATA under an agreement with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Kenan Advantage has committed to putting Highway Watch training materials into the hands of all 4,000 employees in their seven subsidiaries, encouraging voluntary participation in the national program. The curriculum teaches drivers how to observe and properly report suspected national security threats and highway safety incidents.
According to the announcement, Kenan Advantage Group Inc. is the largest independent fuels delivery carrier in North America. Its seven subsidiary groups -- Advantage Tank Lines, Beneto Bulk Transport, KAG Logistics, Kenan Transport, Klemm Tank Lines, McDaniel Corp., North Canton Transfer and Petro-Chemical Transport -- make regular, local deliveries of refined petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel and aviation fuels.
Highway transportation sector professionals are welcome to join Highway Watch by calling the national toll free number at 866-821-3444 or visiting www.highwaywatch.com.
