Keller Technical Institute, a division of J. J. Keller & Associates Inc., has announced its new Transport Security Seminar, created to help general and hazmat motor carrier operators learn how to improve their company’s
overall safety and security and comply with federal transport security regulations.
The one-day seminar explores both current and future security threats and how to protect against them. It includes information and strategies to help companies assess security risks; comply with security-related regulations; train drivers/employees on security-related issues; get management involved in the security program; and reduce liability exposure.
The seminar also provides the latest information on pending security-related legislation, along with an analysis of how it could affect companies in the future.
Seminar participants will receive Keller’s customizable Security Plan and Risk Assessment. They will also receive Keller’s Transport Security manual (a $165 value), providing how-to information on security concerns, cargo theft and terrorist threats. The manual also contains templates and checklists to help companies establish and maintain a security program, along with current information on requirements for hazmat employee security awareness.
The Transport Security Seminar is scheduled for the following locations and dates:
-- Denver, Colo. (Tuesday Oct. 21, 2003)
-- Long Beach, Calif. (Wednesday Oct. 22, 2003)
-- Pomona, Calif. (Thursday Oct. 23, 2003)
-- Sacramento, Calif. (Friday Oct. 24, 2003)
