Karmak has released ProfitMaker 1.1.6, a new version of its PC-based parts and service management software.

The latest enhancements include integration with QuickBooks and QuickBooks Pro 2002 accounting programs.
ProfitMaker provides fleets and single-location service shops with efficient inventory and pricing control, automated ordering, receiving, and price updates, as well as easy sales and repair order invoicing. ProfitMaker simplifies recording and tracking of customer and supplier records, sales tax, warranties, VMRS codes, labor costs, preventive maintenance schedules, core returns, and cross references, and includes full support of bar-coding for parts inventory and technicians' time entry.
The newest release interfaces with QuickBooks and QuickBooks Pro 2002 for general ledger and accounts receivable, to eliminate double entry and streamline record keeping. Other enhancements include improved sales tax maintenance and management reporting features.
