JX Enterprises has added two new full-service dealerships in Fort Wayne and Indianapolis - expanding the JXE network to 15 locations.
Both dealerships, formerly owned by Utility Trailers of Indianapolis, Inc., doing business as Utility/Peterbilt, officially begin operating as JX Peterbilt - Fort Wayne and JX Peterbilt - Indianapolis on Oct 10.
Between the two new locations, JX Enterprises serves 48 counties and nearly half of Indiana. Additionally, the acquisition includes the dealerships' assets and expands the company's JX PacLease rental and lease fleet to approximately 800 vehicles.
"These two new locations allow us to extend our best in class products and support more comprehensively throughout the Midwest, providing customers with more convenient access and greater choices," said Eric Jorgensen, president and CEO of JX Enterprises. "We continue to strategically grow our business, adding locations, expanding our lineup of services and further positioning our company as a complete solutions provider for the transportation industry."
The company said it plans to retain nearly all 90 of the current employees of the two dealerships.
Highlights of the new locations include:
JX Peterbilt - Fort Wayne: This 30,000-square-foot facility features new and pre-owned truck sales, full-service rental and leasing, and a modernly equipped service shop with 14 bays. It is located near I-469 and Hwy. 30 (exit 19A) at 12010 Declaration Drive in New Haven on the East side of Fort Wayne. Its parts and service departments are open from 7 a.m. to midnight weekdays and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon.
JX Peterbilt - Indianapolis: In addition to new and used truck sales, full-service rental and leasing, and a 25-bay service shop, this 70,000-square-foot dealership also has a state-of-the-art body shop.
