Join Women In Trucking This Friday, Saturday at Tennessee Truck Show
Vicky Holiday and her musician husband Joey, show their appreciation for drivers this Thursday and Friday by hosting The Tennessee Truck Show in Nashville for a fourth year in a row

For many years, this couple has traveled around the country, entertaining professional drivers and their families, while thanking them for their contributions. They felt that drivers were under-appreciated, and they wanted to give something back to the industry.
"Very few truck shows are run by women, and it's evident that Vicky and the Tennessee Truck Show provide a way for drivers to be appreciated and welcomed," said Ellen Voie, chairwoman of the Women In Trucking Association. "More and more women are entering this industry and people like Vicky are great role models for the rest of us," Voie added.
Each year something new has been added, and each year the show attracts more visitors, exhibitors and sponsors. Truck drivers can bring their rigs and participate in a truck show, but if they don't have the time to scrub, wash and polish, they can enter their truck in the "wash and park" category and hope that the true beauty of their rig shines through.
"We try to make everything a little different at our show," said Vicky, and they feature, "free parking, free admission, free food and free entertainment."
A highlight this year is a Texas Hold 'em tournament for those who like to test their luck, and there will be seminars for those who want to learn.
The show runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. The Tennessee State Fairgrounds are located at Exit 81 off Interstate 65.
