Memphis-based truckload carrier JNJ Express will deploy the Aether Mobile-Max communications system across its fleet of more than 100 trucks.
JNJ, which hauls commodities throughout 31 states for customers such as Williams Sonoma and Coors, plans to have its entire fleet outfitted with Aether’s multi-mode system by the end of summer.
MobileMax delivers real-time GPS-tracking, messaging, and other critical information over its unique multi-mode network. MobileMax messaging capabilities will allow JNJ Express to communicate more efficiently with their drivers. The company expects to grow its fleet 35 percent over the next nine months, due in part to savings on driver phone calls.
“Aether MobileMax has streamlined our fleet management process and has already proven to be a vital fleet management tool. In the first week we increased productivity and our rate per mile,” said Terry Jobe, General Manager, JNJ Express. “We’ve found that improving our communications system goes a long way to enhancing the service we provide our customers.”
