Maptuit Corp. has announced that J & R Schugel Trucking will be installing FleetNav Directions, FleetNav Alert and FleetNav Fuel throughout its national fleet in support of their drivers needs.
“Consistent with our corporate mission, at Schugel we want our drivers and managers to have the tools they need to keep drivers safe by keeping them on truck approved roads. Using Maptuit’s FleetNav will also help us to improve our customer satisfaction by delivering our customer’s goods on time,” said Brad Schugel, co-owner and vice president of J & R Schugel. “With Maptuit’s FleetNav Directions, Fuel and Alerts, our drivers will receive the industry’s best fuel optimized truck routing available anywhere via the mobile communications units; our dispatch center will now be able to manage our fleet with increased efficiency by knowing where all our trucks are at any given time, making sure trucks are not out-of-route.”
“Technology has become increasingly accepted by carriers of all sizes, and it helps trucking companies and drivers become more efficient, ensuring operators get to their final destination faster, safer and with greater detail than ever before” stated Jeff Papows, CEO of Maptuit. “By continuing to grow our community of drivers, Maptuit can increase our ability to improve on unknown truck restrictions as drivers are continually providing them directly to Maptuit as they encounter them. That information is fed to our servers and available quickly, making our network the most up-to-date and accurate in the nation. No other provider of truck routing can claim this but Maptuit.”
