The Stars & Stripes Show & Shine at the International Trucking Show June 27-29 in Las Vegas is expected to be the largest indoor truck beauty competition for Class 8 trucks ever held.

Initially, the show was scheduled to have room for only 45 trucks – 20 tractor-trailers and 25 bobtails. But organizer Bud Farquhar announced this week that the event now has unlimited indoor space for truck owners to compete in air-conditioned comfort at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Rigs will compete for $500 Best of Show Combo and Best of Show Bobtail prizes. One combination and one bobtail will also take home $250 each for People’s Choice, and first-place winners in 16 classes will win $100.
The event is sponsored by Chevron Delo, Peterbilt, and Newport Communications, with the help of Truck-Lite, Bridgestone/Firestone, Howes Lubricator Products, the I-75 Chrome Shop in Wildwood, Fla., Valley Chrome Plating in Clovis, Calif., and California Custom Products.
