The 32nd annual Mid-America Trucking Show is right around the corner, and the trucking industry is getting ready for opening day.
Scheduled March 20-22 this year, the show will be held at the Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center in Louisville, Ky.
With more than 1,000 industry-leading companies from the continental U.S. and nine foreign countries, the show promises to be the highlight of the year for the trucking industry.
The Mid-America Trucking Show continues to be the annual focal point of the heavy duty trucking industry and the 2003 show will be no exception. With a thousand exhibitors signed up so far, the show's management has opened the Pavilion to accommodate the need for additional exhibit space.
In total, the show will encompass more than 1 million square feet of exhibit space at the Louisville center.
Highlighting this year's event are revolutionary business solutions, cutting-edge technologies, ground-breaking product innovations, and product unveilings. Attendees are also invited to take part in educational seminars addressing industry issues and safety demonstrations, visit the Expedite InfoCenter to learn about this segment of the industry, and see the latest technologies at Mid-America's Internet and Technology Center.
The 3rd Annual Paul K. Young Memorial Truck Beauty Championship will showcase more than 130 show trucks. NASCAR legend Ricky Craven and Country Music Artist Pam Tillis are scheduled to attend, along with numerous other celebrities and entertainers. Performing at Freedom Hall on Friday March 22 will be Alabama, sponsored by Kenworth.
Traditionally, MATS has surpassed pre-show expectations, and preliminary indications are that the 2003 Mid-America Trucking Show will be heavily attended once again.
