TheRetread Tire Association (RTA) is now OFFICIALLY in business with all i's dotted and t's crossed, making RTA a legally recognized Non-Profit Organization.
RTA Managing Director, Harvey Brodsky, issued a press release Dec. 19 announcing the formation of the new retread association, saying the RTA may be new, but his dedication and ties to the retreading industry go back more than three decades.
"I have been and will continue to write and speak on behalf of retreading around the world to fleet managers at conferences and trade shows," Brodsky says. "I look forward to maintaining my commitment to this industry, and I will be doing my utmost to promote retreading by conducting educational and informational panels for owner-operators and others, along with promoting and defending our industry."
Brodsky has written hundreds of articles, letters and news releases related to redtreading over the years that have been printed in newspapers and magazines around the world. He has worked productively with government entities (including on the local, state, federal and international levels), and has been responsible for heading off ill informed attacks against retreading in Florida, Georgia and a number of other cities and states.
"In short," says Brodsky, "It's good to be serving this vital industry."
The following companies have agreed to have their names published and are in addition to other RTA Charter Members who have asked us to not publish their names. Names of new RTA members will be published on a regular basis.
