The International Trucking Show (ITS), will hold its 43rd exposition at the Anaheim Convention Center Sept. 23-25 after eight years in Las Vegas, reestablishing a premier trucking industry event in the heart of Western trucking.

Located within an hour of almost 100,000 Californians who work in every area of commercial trucking, the 2004 International Trucking Show offers three days of marketplace exposure to qualified buyers in the most concentrated medium and heavy-duty truck market in the United States.
"We deliver the market to you," said Joel D. Anderson, executive vice president and CEO of the California Trucking Assn., whose membership -- 2,500 companies employing more than 150,000 employees -- ranges from corporations to sole operators and every size company in between.
Additionally, seminars and workshops for the 2004 ITS are being designed around one goal: to provide participants with new knowledge and expertise to help them run their businesses more profitably.
More than 400 exhibitors from throughout California, the U.S. and international commercial trucking industry are expected to participate in the exposition. They include Freightliner, Kenworth, Ford, Mack, Volvo, International, Peterbilt and Western Star Trucks.
"With the ITS back in Anaheim, the number of qualified fleet buyers from Southern California that attend the show will increase dramatically," said Conan Barker, president of Los Angeles Freightliner. "There are just a huge number of buyers here."
In addition to outstanding opportunities for product marketing and sales to qualified buyers, the ITS offers special promotional events, educational seminars and networking with decision makers at all levels of the industry.
The theme of the 2004 ITS is "Let’s Get Down To Business!," and the show features enhancements that make it easier than ever before to do business:
-- Exhibitors are grouped into easily navigated color-coded pavilions for attendees to make the best use of their time. A color-specific floor map they receive before they enter the Convention Center will guide them around the show.
-- Promotional events and activities will take place throughout the day to keep attendees interested and engaged on the show floor.
-- The 2004 ITS is scheduled to be open until 7 p.m., making it easier for industry personnel and new customers to attend at or near the close of their workday.
-- Special exhibitor lounge and exclusive closing rooms for distraction-free negotiating and closing sales.
The Anaheim Convention Center is easily reached from Los Angeles International Airport and John Wayne Airport. The area features an abundance of moderately priced lodging and is located near Disneyland.
