The Technology & Maintenance Council of the American Trucking Associations said it has reached a non-exclusive data exchange agreement with International Truck and Engine Corp.

Under the terms of this agreement, International customers with an ISIS CD Subscription will now be able to use TMC FleetPortal to gain direct access to International technical publications and service information for their fleets, including service manuals, service bulletins, campaign notices, warranty information, TIPS, standard repair times, operator's manuals, and other publications. Fleets that subscribe to TMC FleetPortal will have access to International technical data pertaining to their specific fleet equipment.
Julie Espich, manager of National Service for International said, "Based upon feedback gathered from our customers, we identified a need to help fleets improve their efficiency in accessing technical information. We recognized this cooperative agreement with the TMC as a means by which to complement our customer service offerings."
Larger fleets that operate equipment from more than one OEM have a greater challenge in managing the vast amount of service and technical information received from multiple sources. TMC FleetPortal was originally created to help resolve this problem. It provides a single point of entry to all information from multiple OEMs and suppliers, as well as any internal documents related to maintenance of the fleet.
By providing an information portal for maintenance data from all of a fleet's original equipment manufacturers, TMC FleetPortal can significantly reduce the time maintenance professionals spend searching for technical information. Fleet technicians will no longer need to log in to multiple web sites with different passwords and methods of finding data. They can simply log on to the TMC FleetPortal system with a single user name and password to access all of the information needed, regardless of manufacturer.
