The opening session of this year's Intermodal Expo will provide insights from three freight transportation CEOs from the highway, rail and water carrier sectors.
The session, "Industry Insight on Freight Transportation: Viewpoint from the CEO's Office," will feature Christopher Lofgren, president and CEO of Schneider National; Matthew Rose, chairman, president and CEO of BNSF Railway Company; and Michael White, president, North America, Maersk Line.
The interactive town hall-style session will also offer attendees the ability to participate through an electronic audience response system that offers instant opinion-polling of the audience and other interactive features.
The event will include the National Industrial Transportation League's TransComp Exhibition, the Intermodal Association of North America's Intermodal Expo, and the Transportation Intermediaries Association's Fall Meeting. The event also includes the NITL and IANA annual membership meetings.
It will be held Nov. 14 to 16 at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Organizers expect over 2,000 senior freight transportation and logistics executives and over 200 exhibitors to attend.
