Datatrac Corp., an Atlanta-based software developer and wireless communications solutions provider for delivery industry, said Integres Global Logistics has adopted the eTrac information platform created by Datatrac to enhance its customer service.
Integres provides customers with pricing and high performance shipping by leveraging strategic relationships and technology. eTrac is an independent information network for the time-sensitive delivery industry. Using the Internet, eTrac will enhance communication between Integres and their cartage network. The Integres system collects and communicates shipping event information as it occurs throughout the delivery process, gaining valuable visibility at each stage.
"The Integres shipment tracking system provides full visibility, with status updates from origin to destination," said James Hartigan, president and CEO of Integres. "eTrac enhances communications with cartage transportation providers in our network, allowing us to more closely monitor and manage shipments in-transit, improve planning and provide more shipment details to our customers."
With eTrac, Integres can provide its customers with real-time shipment tracking information from pickup to delivery. Integres' cartage agents can also take advantage of Wireless eTrac, a mobile data application that provides drivers real-time functionality for job status updates that can be quickly fed into the Integres information network.
Craig Lotz, CEO for Datatrac Corp., said, "Datatrac is pleased to be selected as one of Integres' online shipping information providers for connecting cartage agents. We believe eTrac will bring significant benefits to their virtual service provider approach."
