Inland Truck Parts has begun using Mitchell 1 on-line repair information programs at its two newest locations, in Olathe and Wichita, Kans.
ITP offers drive-in truck repair service at 20 of its 26 locations utilizing Mitchell 1 programs to diagnose and correctly repair a wide variety of vehicle makes and models, the Mitchell 1 announcement said.
"We pride ourselves on our outstanding service" said Dave Scheer, ITP's president. "Our shops are equipped with the latest diagnostic tools and service equipment and Mitchell 1 products are an integral component. We know our technicians need to be highly skilled and efficient to offer truck operators a reliable source for their vehicle maintenance needs. Our facilities utilize Mitchell 1 programs to support that effort."
ITP is a network of parts, in-house remanufacturing and drive-in service facilities with an inventory of replacement parts and repair capabilities for all makes and models of trucks and trailers.
ITP began introducing Mitchell 1 on-line repair programs in 2004 and today their facilities use all Mitchell 1 products: Tractor-Trailer.net, Medium-Truck.net, and Repair-Connect.net.
The programs gives technicians the diagnostic and repair information they are likely to need to complete a service order correctly, the company said. Programs are continually updated and include thousands of detailed color wiring diagrams to help solve complex electrical problems as well as full-color photos that provide a real-world view of many vehicle components and assemblies.
CircuitSelect allows the user to easily trace, highlight, isolate and hide individual wiring circuits using colored highlights.
Tractor-Trailer.net, Medium-Truck.net and Repair-Connect.net together have all the information required to diagnose and repair all makes of Class 4 -8 vehicles, including trailers, the company claimed.
