AmeriQuest Transportation and Logistics Resources will hold its inaugural Transportation Industry Convention, Nov. 5-9, 2003
at the Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.
The theme of the event will be "New Directions: Uniting the Truck Transportation Industry."
The event will bring together for the first time participating AmeriQuest partners in the truckload carrier, private fleet, truck rental and leasing company sectors of the transportation business, along with premier suppliers servicing the industry.
"We are planning this conference to provide attendees with fresh insight into the current state of the truck transportation industry, and to show how to best take advantage of the myriad of opportunities now present," said Doug Clark, president & CEO of AmeriQuest. "Attendees will hear from a wide variety of industry leaders covering general issues impacting us all and specific issues that impact our industry."
Keynote speakers will include John Block, executive vice president of the Food Marketing Institute, president of FMI's Wholesaler Division and former Secretary of the U. S. Department of Agriculture; John Brandt, CEO of the Manufacturing Performance Institute and editor-at-large of Chief Executive Magazine, and Larry Steinmetz, president of High Yield Industries.
There will also be a series of industry-specific breakout sessions.
