The Supreme Industries Special Vehicles sales team delivered Indiana's first district Mobile Command Center Vehicle to representatives of Dearborn County as part of its $2.1 million contract award from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security.


As part of its joint venture with the Federal Department of Homeland Security, the Indiana Department of Homeland Security will deploy a total of five mobile command centers in Indiana. These vehicles incorporate redundant communication systems to ensure full command capability even in the most dire of situations, and are designed to be inter-operable with each other as well as with the IDHS command base.

"Supreme's 'Mobile Command Center Vehicle' features the critical components needed that will enable us to respond rapidly to emergency situations and to coordinate our activities on the scene effectively," said William Black Jr. of Dearborn County EMA. "We are pleased to incorporate Supreme Corporation's MCCV into our overall emergency response plan."
