Shipshewana, Ind.-based Double Eagle Industries, which makes custom sleeper berths, has announced it will close its doors tomorrow, after 35 years in business
, according to an interview with Land Line Now radio.
In an interview with Land Line Now, President Ray Miller said a large part of their business is owner-operators, who cannot afford to buy sleepers now and are only purchasing things they need.
Double Eagle introduced its first 60-inch sleeper at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky., in 1976 and has been under the same management ever since, according to its website.
