Idle Free Inc. has appointed two new people to its management team. Greg Hansen was named director of operations and will manage supply chain and production. And Jason Hufford is the new Central Region Sales Director.
Hansen will be responsible for the manufacturing of Idle Free's APU system. He brings with him more than 20 years of production and operations experience, including 10 years in engineering and manufacturing with GE Healthcare and nine years as plant supervisor with Winslow Industries. Reporting to Idle Free CEO Robert Hopton, Hansen will oversee production at Idle Free's Watertown, Wis. facility.
Jason Hufford has been appointed as central region sales director. Hufford has worked in the APU and refrigerated transport market since 1996. He began his career in engineering and his most recent position was vice president of regional sales for Glacier Bay Technology. He will be based in Rockford, Ill.
Robert Hopton, CEO of Idle Free Systems, says both Hansen and Hufford bring extensive relevant industry experience to Idle Free and their growing customer base.
"Greg brings outstanding manufacturing experience to our Watertown location, and Jason's knowledge of the APU market is unparalleled," said Hopton. "We are very excited about the quality and caliber of the people that we are adding to the team as we continue to experience significant growth."
