UDrove announced more trucking-specific attractions to be held at its Humanitarian Bowl Dec. 18.
Mobile transportation solution provider UDrove, together with Arkansas-based owner-operator company Fikes Truck Line, will sponsor the appearance of Lisa Kelly, as seen on The History Channel's "Ice Road Truckers" and "IRT: Deadliest Roads" television shows at the bowl game in Boise, Idaho.
Kelly, who drives for Carlile Transportation Systems based in Anchorage, Alaska, will be on hand for the uDrove Humanitarian Bowl pre-game festivities, signing autographs and sharing her extreme truck driving experiences from Alaska to India.
Previously, the Truckload Carriers Association announced it will for the third year in a row honor the TCA Highway Angel of the Year during the uDrove Humanitarian Bowl.
"Fikes is excited to sponsor Lisa's appearance at the uDrove Humanitarian Bowl game," said Gary Salisbury, president and CEO of Fikes Truck Line. "We look forward to participating in this college bowl game, along with uDrove, to help highlight and promote the trucking industry."
Lisa Kelly will be signing autographs Dec. 18 at Bronco Stadium in Boise during the pre-game festivities, including:
10:30 - 11:30 a.m. / 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Transportation Expo outside the main stadium entrance
11:30 - 12:30 p.m. / 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Tailgate Party inside the Caven-Williams Center
The game kicks off at 5:30 p.m. ET (3:30 p.m. MT) at the "Blue Turf" of Bronco Stadium of Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. The game, which matches top contenders from the Western Athletic Conference and the Mid-American Conference, will air on ESPN.
