Interstate Connections Ltd., a retail provider of wireless solutions to the interstate trucking industry, has partnered with telSPACE Inc. to launch a mobile virtual network operator product.
Called RoadCom Wireless, the pay-as- you-go phone service
is designed to meet the specific needs of professional drivers. RoadCom Wireless is sold exclusively at Interstate Connections' approximately 100 retail locations nationwide.
The RoadCom offering comes to market with pay-as-you-go rates designed specifically for the professional drivers, including high-end rate plans, unlimited night and weekend minutes, text messaging options, and free nationwide long distance.
"We built RoadCom Wireless trucker tough, "said Brandon Frye, CEO, Interstate Connections. "In the process of selling over 150,000 wireless phones in the last five years, we have learned a tremendous amount about the needs of the professional drivers. We believe we've created the perfect pay-as-you-go wireless service for this industry," said Frye.
For added convenience, Interstate Connections is offering a free NetSpend All-Access Prepaid Visa with all new RoadCom Wireless activations, a savings of $19.99 per card. The prepaid card allows customers to load cash and use the card everywhere Visa cards are accepted. Truck drivers have the convenience of using the prepaid debit card for reloading RoadCom Wireless minutes on the phone, for Internet purchases, or for merchandise at any Interstate Connections location or other major retailers.
