The new commitment follows the recently completed $4.5 million investment to bolster sub-assembly cycle times and a $6.8 million warehouse expansion,
The first round of investment should bolster trailer capacity by approximately 25% per month. The newest approved expansion of line capacity will add a new production line, the company’s fifth, to produce both trailers and domestic containers in a new building to be constructed at the current plant location. This latest investment is expected to increase production capacity by another 30% beginning in the second quarter of 2006.
Hyundai Translead is a manufacturer of dry freight and reefer vans, domestic containers, and container chassis.
