HireRight, the employment background and drug screening company, has acquired National Diagnostics, a full-service provider of drug testing and physical exam services.
HireRight also owns the former DAC Services, which offers background check information to trucking companies.
"NDI's deep expertise, full-service offering, and technology-driven approach mesh well with HireRight's commitment to innovation, quality and customer satisfaction," said Mike Petrullo, HireRight president and CEO.
Charlotte, N.C.-based NDI was founded in 1990 and manages a broad collection network located at more than 18,000 medical facilities across North America. Its services include comprehensive drug testing and physical examination services for regulated and non-regulated industries, Department of Transportation testing and compliance solutions, and review services provided by on-staff licensed professionals certified by the American Association of Medical Review Officers (AAMRO) and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM).
Dr. Phillip Greene, president, CEO, and founder of NDI, will continue to head the NDI business in Charlotte. He'll report to Petrullo.
"This business combination will provide the resources, scale, and professional support required to further extend our service and solution offerings while maintaining the industry expertise, customer focus, and excellent service levels our customers have come to expect from us," said Greene.
