The Weather Channel has added an "Interstate Forecast" feature to its Weather.com web site.

The new feature provides drivers with detailed weather forecasts for cities along 59 major U.S. interstates.
Located in the site's Driving section (www.weather.com/driving) the Interstate Forecast delivers location-specific forecasts from coast to coast. The feature allows site visitors to select specific interstates, for which weather.com highlights a city approximately every 90 miles. For each featured city, travelers receive updated local weather reports including 10-day forecasts, probability of precipitation, current conditions and sunrise and sunset information.
This new feature also displays one national and nine regional maps that present color-coded interstate weather conditions ranging from good (green) to caution (red). Adaily Driving Forecast video highlights severe weather conditions along major U.S. interstates. You can get printable forecasts for the next 10 days.
