Integrated Decision Support Corp., Richardson, Texas, announced that High Country Transportation Inc., Cortez, Colo., has licensed Expert Fuel optimization software.
High Country is a flatbed and drybulk carrier with service in 48 states and Canada.
Expert Fuel determines where to buy fuel at the lowest cost by providing drivers with guidance on which route to run, the fuel stops to make, and the amount of fuel to purchase in order to maximize fuel savings and minimize out-of-route miles. According to Intergrated, Expert Fuel currently saves existing customers between 4 and 11 cents per gallon of diesel fuel per truck.
