Hendrickson International, Woodridge, Ill., has introduced its Ultra Rod Plus torque rod replacement option for heavy duty trucks and tractors.

The "plus" in Ultra Rod Plus represents added versatility, according to the company. Empty end hubs allow the use of any cartridge configuration from existing Hendrickson torque rod cartridge inventory, providing a replacement option for vocational and on-highway applications.
The product's 30-inch spacer end provides the capability to trim the torque rod length -- just measure, cut and weld. One-piece forging of both the tube and spacer ends eliminates the standard end-hub assembly weld and provides greater structural integrity.
Torque rods are an integral part of the suspension, and service life will vary, relative to the severity of the application. Regular inspections are a must.
