The Automotive Parts Rebuilders Assn. (APRA) has announced the Heavy Duty Brake Division and the Heavy Duty Transmission and Driveline Division will meet the same weekend at the Sheraton North Charleston, S.C., May 7-8, 2004.
Highlighting the meetings will be tours of Williams Technologies’ transmission reman facility and WABCO’s facility in the area. Both tours will feature high-tech manufacturing and remanufacturing facilities on the cutting edge of manufacturing techniques.
Representatives of WABCO and Williams will present overviews of their respective facilities and the products they market to the world’s OEM truck and vehicle manufacturers. Other top component manufacturers will present updates of their product lines and a look at what is coming down the line.
Presentations on human resource management by SESCO, and how to sell to commercial vehicle fleets customers will be featured.
