A new national event bringing numerous aftermarket organizations’ meetings to a single venue is rapidly picking up speed

A new national event bringing numerous aftermarket organizations’ meetings to a single venue is rapidly picking up speed.
Scheduled Jan. 23-27 at The Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) now has most truck aftermarket trade associations and marketing groups on board.
Participants involved in planning and development thus far include the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Assn., Council of Fleet Specialists, Heavy Duty Distribution Assn., FleetPride, Heavy Duty America, National Wheel & Rim Assn., Service Specialists Assn., Truck Pride, amd VIPAR Heavy Duty Parts.
HDAW is designed for aftermarket distributors, dealers & manufacturers to hold their own focused meetings, while offering a trade show & general business and educational sessions for all attendees.
Individual meetings will include one-on-one distributor/manufacturer sessions, educational training tailored to heavy duty parts professionals, manufacturer sales meetings and other functions.
In addition, Heavy Duty Dialogue has moved its prestigious annual supplier conference to Jan. 23 at the Mirage, to coincide with HDAW’s opening.
In the past, many of the groups involved have held two annual meetings, some with trade shows of their own, at different times and places. The goal of HDAW is to consolidate meetings and trade shows into an event that will save time and money for all concerned, while drawing a larger attendance, at a single event.
More information is available at www.hdaw.org. Exhibitors can reserve show space online; the deadline is July 1. Signed on to exhibit so far: ArvinMeritor, Bendix CVS, MGM Brake, National Seating;, Phillips Industries and SKF.
